Let me share my experience here. In my childhood, I used to go to yoga classes. And our yoga teacher used to keep last few minutes of each session for open discussion. People used to share their experiences among us. One day, one person shared some of his personal problem. And he was feeling like only he has got that much of problems in his life. He was hopping to get a solution for that. Our teacher understood the scenario and asked each of us to share our own problem with all. So one person said that he couldn’t walk very long because his leg pains due to injury, another said he couldn’t breath properly due to lung damage, someone said he has back pain issue, someone said he couldn’t buy a house because of lack of money and list went very long.
While listing to other’s problems, that person was feeling thankful for the things that didn’t happened to him like injury, lung damage, back pain, money shortage etc. He realized that each of them was having some problem but they were not so criticizing about it. Instead of that, people are being thankful for whatever the other blessing have with them.
That day we all got to learn a lesson that you can not eliminate some of the problems out of life forever but we can always change the approach towards them. Having any kind of problem is not a bad thing but always criticizing about it and missing all the other fun could be problematic. So my intention behind sharing this experience is to make you feel thankful for whatever the good things that still have with you, instead of complaining about the problems you have got.
