Gratitude is a life changing factor. You can say this is something key to hidden treasure of our life. Many people do not realize that their life is so wonderful. They only need to have fresh vision to spot blessing they have got in their life. This article is for those who have been forgotten to thank each and every person and moment of their life which made them smile and feel better. so let’s start.
Overall feeling of a thankfulness after the work we have done or the accomplishment we received is the kind of satisfactory and also be termed as success. You won’t believe but whatever you have right now, like food for 3 times a day, a mobile, a short circle of friends and family etc. Many people don’t have that because of lack of money or due to some reason. So instead of appreciating whatever we have, continuously thinking about that things you don’t have and criticizing about it is like playing around negative thoughts.

When I learned gratitude?

Let me share my experience here. In my childhood, I used to go to yoga classes. And our yoga teacher used to keep last few minutes of each session for open discussion. People used to share their experiences among us. One day, one person shared some of his personal problem. And he was feeling like only he has got that much of problems in his life. He was hopping to get a solution for that. Our teacher understood the scenario and asked each of us to share our own problem with all. So one person said that he couldn’t walk very long because his leg pains due to injury, another said he couldn’t breath properly due to lung damage, someone said he has back pain issue, someone said he couldn’t buy a house because of lack of money and list went very long.
While listing to other’s problems, that person was feeling thankful for the things that didn’t happened to him like injury, lung damage, back pain, money shortage etc. He realized that each of them was having some problem but they were not so criticizing about it. Instead of that, people are being thankful for whatever the other blessing have with them.
That day we all got to learn a lesson that you can not eliminate some of the problems out of life forever but we can always change the approach towards them. Having any kind of problem is not a bad thing but always criticizing about it and missing all the other fun could be problematic. So my intention behind sharing this experience is to make you feel thankful for whatever the good things that still have with you, instead of complaining about the problems you have got.

Another reason why gratitude is so important

According to article published in Forbes, real key to success lies in simply being grateful. It promotes feeling of happiness, satisfaction and produced long-lasting positivity. As many of you know that there is link between positive energy and law of attraction. The more positive you are, more likely to attract things which you want in your life. And if you get what you want in life it means you achieved success. doesn’t it? Gratitude always produce positive energy and positive energy always make Law of Attraction stronger. Gratitude is nothing but feeling of thankfulness. Focus on the things which is making your present better and feel thankful about it. It can help you to bring positivity back into your life and inspires good things to flow your way again.

How to practice gratitude

Feeling gratefulness is simplest thing to do. Each day before going to bed just sit for a moment and think of a person or things or situation that made your day and feel thankful about it.

  • Be thankful of a person from your family/friends who have been helping you since then.
  • Think of dishes that makes your mouth watery when you eats it.
  • Be Thankful of your favorite music, favorite place which helps to refresh your mood.
  • Be Thankful of skills you have God.
  • Think of two good things happen this day or the day before.
